The New Normal: Air Travel

Longer lines and extra security are the "new normal" at the airport post-9/11.

Ten years ago, the Transportation Security Agency didn't exist.  It was created in the months after 9/11 to close the security loopholes that had allowed 19 terrorists to board and hijack the planes used in the attacks.  It also forever changed the way we fly. 

In the days leading up to the 10th Anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, WFUV is taking a look at ways life has changed as a result of the tragedy.  It's a series we're calling "The New Normal."  WFUV's Lisa Tschernkowitsch has our first installment.  Click for her story below.
