Jets lost to the Patriots 13-10

Yankees beat the Orioles 6-5.  They start a series against the Red Sox in Boston tonight at 7

Mets lost to the Nationals 7-2 last night.  They host the Marlins tonight at 7.

TODAY’S HISTORY

On this day in 1814, the British fail to capture Baltimore in the War of 1812.  Francis Scott Key composes the poem “Defence of Fort McHenry” during the battle, which will later become “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
