Morning Brief: May 29
New York City is now one step closer to a new LaGuardia. The airport’s operator has selected a development group that will reconstruct Terminal B, an aging entryway. The group, La Guardia Gateway Partners, have plans for a design that includes a link between Terminals B and C, retail space, and potentially a rail link, a people-mover, hotel, and meeting center. If the plan is approved, the total cost of reconstructing LaGuardia could increase by about 10 percent.
