Mixed Bag Q&A: Rex Fowler

In January, I had a "Mixed Bag" conversation with Aztec Two-Step's Rex Fowler. He has published a memoir, See, It Was Like This…., and he drops by Studio A to talk about it.
In the book, he reveals what lead him to pursue a career as a singer and songwriter, the ups and downs of the record business, and how he met Neal Shulman, his partner in Aztec Two-Step for more than 45 years. Rex also mentions several WFUV DJs, including John Platt, Dennis Elsas and the late Pete Fornatale.
The book is an eye-opening, fun read that Aztec fans will certainly enjoy. New fans, too. Rex visited Mixed Bag" with his wife and musician extraordinaire Dodie Pettit. And, they’ll played something live, too.
