David Bromberg & His Big Band's final New York City show at the Beacon Theatre on June 10, 2023 got me thinking of all the great NY venues in which he’s performed: the wonderful Beacon, Carnegie Hall, outdoors at the Pier and, of course, the good ol’ Bottom Line. David played the venue's 10th anniversary concert in February 1984.
His shows are diverse, full of joy, wit, and soul. Just like the man himself. So if you can get to the Beacon Saturday night, do it!
