Mipso: 2015

Mipso is a quartet from Chapel Hill, NC, part of the music scene that's given us The Steep Canyon Rangers, Mandolin Orange, Sylvan Esso, and others. They draw on the string band tradition but add a contemporary accent in their songwriting and production, something reflected in the title of their album, Old Time Reverie.
They performed a couple of songs from the album in this session for the "Sunday Supper."
