We welcomed Madison Cunningham to Rockwood Music Hall for this FUV Live show in late January, the day after the GRAMMY awards. She'd just flown back from Los Angeles from the GRAMMYs, where she had been nominated for Americana Album of the Year for her 2019 debut album, Who Are You Now.  The GRAMMY went to Keb' Mo', but there was no defeat in Cunningham. The 22 year-old owned the Rockwood stage on this evening with her well-crafted, meaningful, and modern songs.

Who Are You Now brings some California vibes that are true to Cunningham's Orange County upbringing. In addition, touring with Punch Brothers, guesting on Live From Here with Chris Thile, and collaborating with artists like Andrew Bird (among others) has provided a solid stream of inspiration for her.

To answer her album title, Who Are You Now: Madison Cunningham is an artist we'll be hearing a lot more from in the coming years.
