The New York Mets will play a double-header in Atlanta today to determine the outcome of the National League wild-card race. But Mets fans can already stand a little taller thanks to the Chicago White Sox. Since 1962 The Mets held the dubious distinction of having the most losses in a season - 120 in their first year as a team. The White Sox now hold that record having lost 121 games for the year. So, here's to the losers. Let's mark the occasion with your favorite songs about losing and losers. We'll spin a set.

Hear your requests weekdays after 9 a.m.
Today's set:

  • Barbara Lynn "You'll Lose a Good Thing"
  • Beck "Loser"
  • Lauryn Hill "Lost Ones"
  • The English Beat "Can't Get Used to Losing You"
