After a decade away from music to focus on motherhood, Massachusetts singer and songwriter Lisa Bastoni turned to Grammy-nominated producer and songwriter Felix McTeague (Lori McKenna, Mary Gauthier, et al) when she was ready to record again. The result was the new album, The Wishing Hour.
Lisa and Felix both came to WFUV for this session. They talked about their collaborative process (which included Lisa emailing Felix files of songs she recorded in her kitchen after the kids were in bed) and played a couple of songs from the album.
