Laura Veirs - Words and Music - 2010

Laura Veirs' new album might have been released in the winter, but it's definitely an album of the summer, complete with a name stolen from a variety of Georgia peach -- 'July Flame.' It was produced by Sufjan Stevens and Decemberists' producer (and boyfriend) Tucker Martine, and during an interview and performance in Studio-A with WFUV's Kara Manning, Laura talked about working with My Morning Jacket's Jim James.
