The Kooks - FUV Live - 2014

The Kooks have a new drummer, Alexis Nunez, who has brought a dance-a-bility factor to the band. That's according to Luke Pritchard, the very naturalistic rock star who sings and writes the songs. The fourth Kooks record is dramatically different than its three brothers. As the original quartet from Brighton has matured into the core duo and a freshly locked-in rhythm section, the songs from Listen demand compliance. In this session at our Bronx studios captured the afternoon before their show at The Paramount on Long Island, Luke nods to some funk inspiration.
