Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis join host John Platt in Studio A, tonight at 9pm. Check out video of the performances here.

Kelly Willis was already a recording artist with a couple of major label albums to her credit when she met Bruce Robison, an aspiring singer-songwriter, at a party in Austin in 1992. The musical chemistry came before the romance, but within four years they'd gotten married. Over the years they managed to balance having their own solo careers and raising four kids. Last year they decided the time was right to record their first full-length CD together. The result was Cheater's Game, a superb collection of Bruce Robison originals and well-chosen covers that's already one of my favorites of 2013. When I heard they were coming to WFUV with a couple of backing musicians, I was thrilled to host their session in Studio A, and they came through with candid stories and beautiful performances.
