We've been fans of the music of José González since his debut Veneer in 2003. There's a simplicity in the beauty of his songs, but if you listen closely, you'll discover a whole lot more lies beneath the surface. On his latest trip to NYC, José played an exclusive set for WFUV Marquee members at Rockwood Music Hall. To call this a magical night would be an understatement. Playing a "stripped down" set with his band, the new songs from his album Vestiges & Claws were just incredible live. It was a very special show.
