Jamie Lidell - Words and Music - 2008

Jamie Lidell used funk samples in his past DJ work and after the breakthrough 2005 album 'Multiply,' continues to create his own blend of retro-soul tunes with the new record, 'Jim.' Loops are swapped for a band on stage though, and that was the scene in Studio-A when Jamie Lidell came by for an interview with Alisa Ali.
