Rita Houston celebrated healing with gratitude on The Whole Wide World Friday night.
Back in August I was diagnosed with Stage 3 ovarian cancer. After surgery and 5 months of chemo, I just received my first clear scan!
Join me on the radio for a special edition of The Whole Wide World to share our stories, share our strength, and revel in the healing power of music. I am forever grateful for the exceptional care I received at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, especially the amazing nurses at the York St. 10th Floor and the 53rd St. Chemotherapy Suite (how do they do what they do every day?).
I'm so moved by the people I've met along the way, and tonight I want to honor the struggle that I've seen patients, caregivers, and friends and families go through. Let's share songs of sadness, triumph, gratitude and healing. #hopeontheair
