Doug and Alyssa Graham have known each other since childhood. Sometime in high school they discovered a shared love of music, which blossomed into a romance as well. The Grahams were inspired by a journey down the Great River Road along the Mississippi to record Riverman's Daughter in Nashville with Malcolm Burn. The New York-based duo made a shorter trip to WFUV to perform some songs from the album in Studio A.
