There's a brand new FUV Live roundup of performances to kick off the Fall Member Drive this month, only available with your donation to this radio station. As always, this collection is an exciting look back at some of the sets from Studio A and New York venues that we've shared with you.
Russ Borris, director of music programming, picked the performances for this year's compilation and wrote about what's special about Vol. 28:
Over the past year, we’ve been blown away by the artistry and talent of the performers who stepped into Studio A for FUV Live. Narrowing down dozens of incredible sessions to just a handful is never easy, but it’s always a fun challenge. From rising voices like Gigi Perez, Kashus Culpepper, and Paris Paloma to longtime favorites like Counting Crows and The Head and the Heart, Volume 28 truly feels like one of the most complete collections in the series. And come on, “Falling Slowly” from The Swell Season as the closing track? That’s the perfect ending. Huge thanks to all the artists who shared these performances, to the dedicated staff who made it all happen, and most of all, to you, our FUV members, for making it possible. We hope you enjoy every moment, and we’ll see you at Volume 29!
