FUV Live 27

There's a brand new FUV Live roundup of performances to kick off the Fall Member Drive this month, only available with your donation to this radio station. As always, this collection is an exciting look back at some of the sets from Studio A and New York venues that we've shared with you.

It's the job of FUV's music director, Russ Borris, to whittle down the long list of terrific performances for this compilation (not an easy task). Here's what he's got to say about Vol. 27 of this ongoing series:

One of the many joys of seeing artists perform for WFUV is the knowledge that we're capturing those moments to share with generous members of the station. At the same time, there's the challenge of narrowing hundreds of live performances down to a precious few that make it to our FUV Live collections. Predictably, the task for this year's volume was just as challenging but the results are some of our best yet! From favorites like Rhiannon Giddens, Lake Street Dive and Future Islands to recent discoveries like Laufey, Billy Allen + The Pollies and Reyna Tropical, FUV Live 27 embodies what makes FUV so very special.
