Bio
Ed Romanoff was a late bloomer. He had a successful marketing and communications company, PineRock, for many years before a songwriting retreat caused to seriously consider music in his fifties. One of his songwriting mentors was Mary Gauthier, who encouraged him to collaborate with her on "The Orphan King," a song about being abandoned as a baby. Ironically, Romanoff himself later discovered that the man who had raised him was not, in fact, his father.
"The Orphan King" became the title track of Romanoff''s second album, which offers intimate portraits of interesting people and places.
