Dum Dum Girls - FUV Live - 2014

Dee Dee Penny leads this New York-via-LA band into dark but shimmering pop territory. On their latest release, Too True, the band worked with producer and songwriter Richard Gottehrer, known for penning the classic songs "My Boyfriend's Back," "Hang On Sloopy" and "I Want Candy" among others. They also brought in The Raveonettes’ Sune Rose Wagner to work on the new songs. The new album is already one of the standouts of the year so far, so we were really pleased that Dee Dee and the band stopped by Studio A to play us some of the new material.
