Banjo player Doug Goldstein has been a key member of a couple creative string bands: Cricket Tell the Weather and Cole Quest & the City Pickers.  A student of Tony Trischka and Noam Pikelny, he's formed with some other fine Brooklyn-based musicians a band, Dougmore, that seeks to expand the vocabulary of the banjo and explore some themes which draw on his Oberlin education.
