Deer Tick: 2018

Deer Tick is a band long on spirit and heart and it's been our privilege to host the guys across multiple visits over the years at WFUV. In the decade since their full length debut, War Elephant, they've earned a reputation as band that delivers gentle acoustic songs as well as brawny electric ones.

On their two new albums, the Providence-rooted band decided to draw a line between their light and heavy sides by simultaneously releasing the folkier Volume 1 and the garage-leaning Volume 2. Ian O'Neil and Dennis Ryan of Deer Tick are my guests for this FUV Live session.
