Even in a country that contains a cornucopia of talented artists, Canada's David Myles is a standout. He's won a Juno Award and numerous accolades in Nova Scotia, but only recently released his debut American album, So Far.
Like a gangly Justin Townes Earle with Elvis Costello-style glasses and a sense of humor, he writes songs with hints of folk, rockabilly, and jazz, and, backed by a tight trio, delivers them in a way that's both insouciant and compelling.
