Dan Wilson: 2017

With his new album Re-Covered, Dan Wilson takes a cool twist on a covers album — this is a collection of his versions of songs that he has written for and with other artists (including some big hits).

Since his days Semisonic, Wilson has been in demand as a songwriter and producer, but this album marks his first time recording his own versions of these songs. Wilson is a very articulate guy on the creative process and songwriting and he's written a book to accompany the new album too.

In this FUV Live session, Wilson plays some of those big songs and we'll get the stories behind them.
