Community Dialogues: Rising Ground's Fatherhood Initiative

Research shows fathers who are actively involved in their children’s lives contribute to their emotional health, overall wellness, social development and self-respect. But, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, 19.7 million children in America, more than 1 in 4, live without a father in their home. And it’s an issue that disproportionately affects families of color. The Fatherhood Initiative at Rising Ground in New York City is working to turn the tide. In this episode of Community Dialogues, we’re talking with the head of the program, Reginald Mitchell.
