Call Me

It's the anniversary of the first telephone call. On this date in 1876 Alexander Graham Bell spoke through his new invention to his assistant saying, "Mr. Watson, come here. I want to see you." Since then phones and calls have popped up in countless songs. Share your favorites and we'll spin a set after 9am.

Here's what we played:

Jesse Malin "Operator"

Arctic Monkeys "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High"

Blondie "Call Me"

Beach Day "Don't Call Me on the Phone"

The B-52s "6060-842"

Nick Lowe "Switchboard Susan"

The Beatles "Any Time at All"
