If you're passing through Grand Central Terminal today, you'll hear auditions for the MTA's Music Under New York program. Those chosen for the program will get choice spots within the transit system to perform.

Has a subway or street performer ever caught your ear? Tell us about it. We'll try to play that song, or perhaps, even that performer — coming up after 9 a.m.

Here's what we played:

The Roches "The Train"

Cat Stevens "Father and Son"

Dar Williams "As Cool As I Am"

The Beatles "Birthday"
