Eric Pulido of the Denton, Texas, band Midlake had an idea: invite pals from Travis, Franz Ferdinand, Band of Horses and Grandaddy to share singing and songwriting with him and make a record. Recently, the idea became a reality with the release of Volume 1 from BNQT.

On the album, each frontman wrote and sang two songs and recorded them with Midlake’s core players; it was that band which also set up in FUV's Studio A along with Fran Healy of Travis. In this FUV Live session, we’ll listen to what they brewed up that day and enjoy some conversation with BNQT.
