Blitzen Trapper: 2018

Blitzen Trapper is no stranger to the FUV studios. The Portland, Oregon quintet, led by singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Eric Earley, has visited FUV in the Bronx a handful of times since the release of the band's 2003 debut album. 

The group has always treated their fans with evocative storytelling and stellar musicianship.  Although Blitzen Trapper leans to alt-country in their sound, it's perilous to classify them in a single genre and a crime to ignore them. 

On this FUV Live session, catching up with Blitzen Trapper and chatting about their most recent release Wild and Reckless,  a rock opera that was produced in Portland last year.
