At the start of December, I sat down with Allan Pepper, co-founder of the fabled club, The Bottom Line. Pepper has co-authored a book with journalist Billy Altman called Positively Fourth and Mercer: The Inside Story of New York’s Iconic Music Club, The Bottom Line.

The book was the focus of an episode of "Mixed Bag" and Allan has some great stories to tell about a club that had Bruce Springsteen, Miles Davis, Linda Ronstadt, Billy Joel and hundreds more on its stage.

I enjoyed chatting with Allan and Billy — and hope you can relive some of your memories of The Bottom Line via this conversation.
