Question of the Day: Does this still make sense in NYC?

The charm of a horse and buggy may be hard to resist - but tell that to the horse. Or to the people who got hurt at Columbus Circle yesterday when a carriage and car collided and the horse bolted. The horse is apparently OK. But animal advocates say this form of transportation has no place in Manhattan. Do you agree? Or to want to preserve this tradition?
