A Little Late And A Dollar Short

Where is everybody? I thought Austin was supposed to be hopping this time of year.  I headed down this week to catch all the buzz and excitement of SXSW, then realized I missed it by a week. No wonder the rooms were so cheap.

Actually, my daughter, Kate, starts her new job as a reporter for KUT this Monday. So my wife, Kathy, and I spent the week moving her from Reno, Nevada to Austin - with a couple of stops in between. Hope you enjoy the musical ride this week on Mixed Bag.
