Sonic Mastermind Dead at 45

Jay Bennett, the guy who had everything to do with one of the all-time great rock records of our time has died at 45. Our friend Greg Kott wrote the obit: http://leisureblogs.chicagotribune.com/turn_it_up/2009/05/jay-bennett.html

Bennett didn’t have an easy time of it but his contribution to Wilco and the band’s landmark record, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot was magnificent.
