Which Waits Are You?

I’ve been meaning to post this forever, but figured it was a good time after just playing “Hold On” from Mule Variations.

Are you a bigger fan of the ballad-type of Tom Waits or the more gravelly kind o’ stuff?  I go back and forth.  I mean, I love Time, Tom Traubert’s Blues and Picture in a Frame just as much as Heartattack and Vine, Going Out West and Hoist That Rag.

So, to answer my own question, “which Waits am I?”  I guess both.  Sort of a cop-out on my part, no?
