On Wednesday Jermaine Jackson confirmed that the Jackson 5 including brother Michael would reunite in 2009. Whoohoo! But yesterday Michael denied that he would be part of any such reunion. Aaaugh! How many times will they build up our hopes only to have them dashed, yet again? The only solution is to embrace the recent trend (reported here previously) of using understudies for rock and pop stars. If Michael Jackson won’t regroup with his brothers to sing “I Want You Back” and “ABC”, let’s get Björk instead. Who’ll know the difference?
