Randy Newman To Record James Bond Theme

Randy Newman, the Oscar winning composer and singer is to write and perform the theme music to the new James Bond movie - according to reports.

Newman says he is delighted to have been asked to pen the lyrics and music for the ‘Quantum of Solace’ movie.

Newman says he is delighted to have been asked to pen the lyrics and music for the ‘Quantum of Solace’ movie. Newman is best known for his songs for kids movies such as Toy Story, a Bugs Life and Cars.

“I have a few ideas” beamed Newman “I like to be very descriptive in my lyrics so they are sending me a script to work with - but I have jotted down a few ideas based on former Bond films and I hope that my own ‘special’ touch will be appreciated” smiled the singer.
