Window treatments, paint and indie rock?

So, I’ve recently moved and spent a great deal of my last two weeks or so cleaning, painting, etc.  (By the way, whoever said “just slap a coat of paint on it” needs a swift kick in the ass).  ANYWAY...

I have been in Lowe’s and The Home Depot more times than I care to mention.  And yet, on FOUR different occasions when wandering Home Depot I have heard “Fake Empire” by The National.  HUH?  The National? IN HOME DEPOT? 

Has this happened to you?  Have you been in a store or restaurant and heard music that, well, just seemed way cooler than what you’d expect them to be playing?
