Listen: Nine Inch Nails, 'Hesitation Marks'

The new Nine Inch Nails album, Hesitation Marks, is out on September 3 on Columbia, but you can hear Trent Reznor's latest oeuvre streaming now on iTunes prior to its release.

The album is the first since 2008's The Slip, after which Reznor announced the need to take some time off from NIN.

Special guests on Hesitation Marks, recorded with Reznor's frequent collaborator Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder, include Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham, Adrian Belew (who swiftly quit NIN's live tour) and virtuosic bassist Pino Palladino, who often plays with The Who and the John Mayer Trio.

Nine Inch Nails plays two shows on their Tension 2013 trek in the New York area, accompanied by Godspeed You! Black Emperor. They'll land at Barclays Center on October 14 and Newark's Prudential Center on October 15.

Watch a teaser below revealing the album's artwork and listen to the surprising new single, "Everything," which is very nearly an upbeat pop track.
