A Voice From The Front Lines

Elizabeth Bigos is the Chief Nursing Officer at Pro-Health Care on Long Island. She has been working 12 plus hour shifts at drive-through coivd19 testing sites since the beginning of the epidemic. She sees roughly 100 patients a day when she’s in clinic and she’s positive we can get through the coronavirus outbreak together.

She talks about what the community can do to support essential employees working on the front lines and how COVID19 has impacted her personal life. She reminds community members that nurses and doctors are human beings who only deal with the virus, but they "are not the virus."
