Strike a Chord: 'Unlonelying' The Planet

Even in a city as densely populated as New York, people can be — or at least feel — very alone. And the fact of the matter is that loneliness can have serious consequences on a person’s physical and mental health.

Jillian Richardson is on a mission to make the world less lonely. She's the founder of The Joy List. It’s described as a resource for people to find events that they can go to by themselves, and leave with a new friend. Richardson is also the author of the book Unlonely Planet: How Healthy Congregations Can Change the World.

She's our guest in this special presentation, produced in conjunction with BronxNet Television
