Consumer culture has risen immensely in the past decade, with customers buying around 60% more clothes and wearing them for half the time. The United Nations reports that a circular economy in fashion is needed now more than ever.

After seeing how large companies produced clothing, Kristie Chow started a sustainable rental company called Hauteline. Her method involves revenue from rental and resale going back to the original companies.
