June is Pride Month. Here at WFUV News, we’re celebrating by sharing stories highlighting queer voices in New York City. Heritage of Pride is the non-profit organization that plans and produces New York City's official LGBTQIA+ Pride events. They're responsible for several different celebrations across the city, like the annual Pride March and Pride Island. WFUV's Christina Ljuljic sat down with Sue Doster, the co-chair of New York City Pride. They discussed Bliss Days, an event focused on celebrating queer women in the community.
