New 9/11 Tribute Museum Opens

The new 9/11 Tribute Museum opened to visitors Tuesday. The space has moved a few blocks away from the original location and is about three times larger. The museum shares stories of those who were directly impacted by the September 11th attacks.

9/11 volunteer worker Anthony Palmeri shared how he helped remove about 1.8 million tons of steel and debri from the devastation site. He said he and other volunteer workers did anything and everything during the nine months of clean-up.

"I always like people to understand that this is not about an individual, this is about community that has really grown together," Palmeri said.

The museum is expecting at least a quarter of a million visitors annually.
