The MTA is rolling out a fleet of all new buses starting Tuesday, and the goal is to bring mass transit into the future.

The new buses have USB ports and free wifi for riders.  The new fleet is part of New York State's $27 billion investment in the MTA- the largest in history.  7 of the 75 new buses will hit the road in Queens this week; the rest will arrive across the city this summer.  New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says in addition to the new features, he also loves the look of the new buses.

"It is sophisticated, but not tedious,” said Governor Cuomo.  “It is playful, but serious.  It is a beautiful bus, and I love that blue.  I have an old GTO the same color blue."

The MTA will also unveil a new e-ticket app for the Metro North and the Long Island Railroad, starting with the Hudson and Port Washington lines at the end of this month.
