Morning Brief: September 7

Enjoy your long weekend, it's Labor Day. Today, it means an extra day off from work and barbecue, but that's not how it started. As its name implies, Labor Day honors the labor movement in the U.S. It was started thanks to the Knights of Labor and it's because of them it's the first Monday in September. So when you enjoy your third day of weekend and some beautiful weather, remember the hard workers in America's past that's helped pave the way for today's workers.
