Automobile company General Motors has agrees to pay 900 million dollars as part of a Justice Department investigation into faulty ignition-switches, which are to blame for more than 120 deaths. Federal prosecutors charged the company with “engaging in a scheme to conceal a deadly safety defect.” GM has plead not guilty.
