Chile’s coast has been struck by a powerful 8.3-magnitude earthquake. Last night, according to an assessments from the U.S. Geological Survey. The epicenter of the quake was over 30 miles west of Illapel, Chile. Chile’s national emergency agency has issued a tsunami alert.
