Morning Brief: November 2

It's a sad day for Mets fans. Despite high hopes for the team's first win since 1986, the Mets lost the World Series to the Kansas City Royals in a 12-inning game five. The Mets held the lead until the ninth inning with two runs up, but that's when the Royals tied it. It stayed that way until the 12th, when the Royals hit five runs to bring the final score to 7-2. It was the Royal's first World Series win since 1985.
