Morning Brief: November 16

Along with much of the rest of the world, New York City is memorializing the victims of a series of brutal terrorist attacks--most recently in Paris. Washington Square Park has become the site of a memorial, with many mourners gathering there yesterday. The arch was lit in the colors of French flag, and will remain lit up this way, along with many iconic NYC landmarks.
