Morning Brief: May 27
After more than a year of renovation, the Children’s Zoo section of the Bronx Zoo will reopen on Saturday. The $4 million project spruced up existing attractions, and also made way for several new ones. Young visitors will be able to check out a marsh habitat for squirrel monkeys called Monkey Island, a new petting zoo, and even a giant anteater named Velcro.
